- Dual-mode auth dialog: username/password (default) + API token fallback
- Proxmox ticket-based auth via POST /access/ticket
- OS keyring integration for secure credential persistence
- Auto-open login dialog on launch when unauthenticated
- Auth state tracking with auto-refresh support
