The "Add to Context" command and the active-editor pin-selection suggestion both create selection attachments but used the basename only (e.g. assist.ts:47). OpenCode synthesizes its Read call from that filename, so the directory was lost and the model could read or edit the wrong file when names collide.
Use the workspace-relative path (asRelativePath(uri, false)) in both paths so the filename carries the directory and the two paths produce identical filenames, restoring attachment dedup.
Fixes#1914
Adds a server-side "small model" capability: direct, cheap LLM calls that
reuse the user's existing OpenCode provider logins — the mechanism OpenCode
uses internally for titles and summaries but does not expose through the
SDK or plugins. Zero new dependencies; plain fetch with per-provider wire
formats, credentials never leave the server.
Core (packages/web/server/lib/small-model):
- Resolution mirrors OpenCode's session scoping: explicit settings override
→ small_model from the OpenCode config → family scan within the session's
provider → the session's own model. The global provider scan only serves
callers without a session context, and background callers forbid it
entirely (restrictToPreferredProvider), so conversation content never
reaches a provider the user didn't pick — explicit choices excepted.
- Per-provider auth replicating OpenCode's plugin loaders: GitHub Copilot
(device token as bearer, no exchange), ChatGPT plan via the codex
Responses API (single-flight OAuth refresh written back to auth.json),
Anthropic messages, Google generateContent, generic OpenAI-compatible.
- OpenCode's free models (opencode/big-pickle, *-free) are never called
directly; unauthenticated providers are skipped by design.
- Prompt clamping to the model's catalog context limit; thinking disabled
where a wire switch exists (Z.AI/GLM, MiniMax-M3, Gemini Flash); robust
content parsing with a clear error when a thinking model spends its whol
budget on reasoning.
- Settings → Sessions gains a Small Model group: use-default checkbox plus
an override picker limited to authenticated providers, persisted with
web/desktop/VS Code sanitization parity.
Consumers:
- Session assist: a server-side watcher on the global SSE hub generates a
short recap and one suggested follow-up after a session idles quietly fo
a minute, stored on session metadata (openchamber.assist). Freshness is
keyed to the last assistant message id, so new activity invalidates the
payload everywhere with no extra writes. The chat shows the recap under
the last message after five quiet minutes and the suggestion as a
dismissible chip above the composer (tap fills the input, never sends).
Gated by a new Chat setting (default on) that is a hard generation
switch. Language is anchored to the conversation itself, with a
script-mismatch guard against model/backend language hallucination.
- TTS: a third input mode, summarized — long replies are condensed to
spoken prose before playback on any TTS engine.
- Git: commit-message and PR generation moved off the active chat session
onto the small model fed with real diffs and the commit list (bodies
included), with a session-transport fallback for free-model-only setups.
- Notes: Add to notes distills long selections into 1-3 dense sentences
preserving exact identifiers, with verbatim fallback on failure.
Fixes along the way:
- The global event watcher now starts unconditionally; it was gated behind
the desktop-notify env, leaving the server-side event hub dead in
packaged apps.
- OpenCode re-emits message.updated for old user messages after idle; the
watcher no longer mistakes those for new activity.
- Session metadata merges from a fresh read right before the PATCH, so
writes made during the generation window (suggestion dismissals, review
links) are preserved; the assist runtime stops during graceful shutdown.
Launching: the VS Code extension spawned .cmd shims with shell:true,
which builds an unquoted command line — a path like
"C:\Program Files\nodejs\opencode.cmd" broke with "'C:\Program' is not
recognized". It now spawns cmd.exe directly with the shim path as its
own argv element (the web server's existing cmd-wrapper pattern), and the
web server's final launch-spec fallback routes raw .cmd/.bat through the
same wrapper instead of handing them to spawn.
Configured paths: wrapping quote pairs (Windows "Copy as path" pastes)
are now stripped everywhere a binary path enters — the VS Code setting
and shared settings.json, env vars on both surfaces, the server's
directory-path normalization, and the desktop settings input.
Discovery: added the system-wide npm prefix (Program Files\nodejs) and
scoop's .exe shim to the Windows candidates, Linuxbrew on Linux, and the
where-probe now runs with windowsHide. The macOS desktop-app exclusion
also covers the OpenCode Dev/Beta app bundles.
OpenChamber spawns the OpenCode server as an external child binary (detached
on Unix), so a hard crash, SIGKILL, or Ctrl+C of the host before graceful
teardown could leave it running. Orphaned servers then accumulate and contend
on the shared SQLite DB, causing severe startup slowdowns.
Add a per-process registry plus a startup reaper, mirroring the pattern
OpenCode's own CLI daemon uses for its detached server:
- One file per spawned process at
~/.config/openchamber/managed-opencode/<pid>.json. Per-process files avoid
the read-modify-write clobber race between concurrent runtimes/windows that a
single shared file would suffer.
- On spawn, record the child (pid, owner pid, port, binary, host runtime).
- On graceful close/restart, delete the record.
- On startup, reap only our own, verified, genuinely-orphaned processes:
recorded by us AND still a live `opencode serve` on the recorded port AND
whose spawner is provably gone (reparented to pid 1, or recorded owner dead).
It never touches a process a live instance is using, the user's standalone
server, the official desktop app, or the TUI.
Wire it into every runtime that spawns the server:
- web/desktop via the OpenCode lifecycle (register on spawn, unregister on
close/restart, reap at startup). The restart-for-config-change flow inherits
this automatically through the same kill/spawn paths.
- VS Code carries a parity implementation (it does not bundle the web package)
that reads/writes the same registry directory and uses the same algorithm.
- Tag the actual host runtime (desktop/web/ssh-remote/vscode) for observability.
Also tighten teardown so the registry stays accurate and orphans die promptly
instead of only on the next start:
- The web server now also handles SIGHUP and SIGUSR2 (terminal close and the
nodemon restart used by dev:server:watch / dev:web:hmr).
- Electron now installs SIGINT/SIGTERM/SIGHUP handlers that run the same
background teardown as a normal quit, covering Ctrl+C on electron:dev.
External OpenCode servers (OPENCODE_SKIP_START) are intentionally excluded: we
never manage or kill processes we did not spawn.
Fix#1685: the Basic auth header for the OpenCode server was hardcoded
to use the username 'opencode', ignoring OPENCODE_SERVER_USERNAME. Users
who set a custom username got 401 errors because the server expected a
different credential.
Both call sites (web server auth-state-runtime.js and VS Code
extension opencode.ts) now read process.env.OPENCODE_SERVER_USERNAME
with a fallback to 'opencode' to preserve prior behavior.

* perf(vscode): gate API readiness and coalesce duplicate startup reads
Bring the VS Code bridge runtime to parity with the web startup
optimizations (PR #1650), which were web/desktop-only.
waitForApiUrl now hands out the OpenCode API URL only once the manager
reports 'connected', instead of as soon as getApiUrl() exposes
server.url. The URL is available the moment the process is spawned —
before waitForReady confirms it can serve and during a workspace-switch
restart (stale port) — so URL-presence alone let the bridge forward to a
not-yet-ready OpenCode and surface 502s. Gating on connected status
mirrors the web proxy's isOpenCodeReady hold. Also fail fast on 'error'
status so a missing CLI doesn't burn the full 30s timeout.
Coalesce concurrent identical GET reads (config/path/agents/agent/
project/command) at the bridge proxy so the single OpenCode process
serves them once. On cold start the webview's sync bootstrap and config
store fire these reads in parallel with no shared dedup; this is the
extension-host analog of the runtimeFetch coalescer. Shared reads carry
no AbortController so one caller's abort can't strand the others, and the
entry clears as soon as it settles (never serves stale).
* perf(vscode): fade the startup splash once mounted + connected, not on live fetch
The webview's initial-loading overlay held until a successful live
/api/config/providers AND /api/agent fetch completed. After the cache
hydration work those live reads are the slowest cold-start tail — the UI
underneath already paints pickers and the sidebar from cache and refreshes
in the background — so gating the splash on them kept it spinning long
after the app was usable.
Fade the overlay as soon as the UI is mounted and OpenCode is connected.
Per-widget loaders convey any remaining background refresh, matching how
web/desktop (which have no such splash) already behave. Removes the now
-obsolete bootstrapProvidersReady/AgentsReady/Failed tracking and
recordBootstrapFetch. Connection error/disconnected splash messages are
unchanged.
* fix(vscode): include captured OpenCode output in spawn-timeout error
When the managed OpenCode server fails to emit its 'listening' line within
the start timeout, the error discarded everything the process printed to
stdout/stderr — so the status report showed a bare 'Timeout waiting for
server to start' with no clue whether the process hung, crashed silently,
or printed a config/auth error. The exit path already includes the output;
the timeout path now does too (or notes that nothing was printed).
* feat(vscode): workspace-grouped session list with working folders, pinning, and archived toggle
Replace the flat multi-workspace session list with the grouped project view,
using each open VS Code workspace folder as a header (no per-worktree
subgroups). This restores native folder and pin support, which the flat list
silently dropped, and fixes the clipped left padding on session rows.
- Group sessions strictly by open workspace; funnel all non-archived sessions
into the workspace's group so they no longer fall into the archived bucket.
- Keep the project/group/folder + buttons but make them open a draft in the
correct workspace and navigate to chat; hide the project actions (...) menu,
which isn't relevant in VS Code.
- Force the minimal single-line row layout (the second metadata row is
redundant under workspace headers) and drop the per-row tooltip.
- Add a show/hide archived toggle next to the archive-all control, since the
VS Code header has no display-mode menu.
- Size the hover action reveal so the timestamp clears the row buttons.
Add per-hunk staging, unstaging, and discarding to the Changes diff
view, so a single change region inside a file can be acted on in
isolation instead of forcing whole-file stage/revert. The change is
wired end-to-end across the web server, the shared UI runtime API
contract, and the VS Code extension, with Electron inheriting the web
path unchanged (it boots the server in-process).
Server
------
- New `applyHunk(directory, filePath, { patch, action })` in
packages/web/server/lib/git/service.js. It resolves the repository
context and validates the file path with the same helpers used by
stageFiles/unstageFiles (resolveGitFileContext +
validateRepositoryFilePaths), then writes the single-hunk patch to a
temporary file in the OS temp dir (never inside the repo, so it
cannot show up as an untracked file) and runs `git apply` with flags
chosen per action:
stage -> git apply --cached (working tree -> index)
unstage -> git apply --cached --reverse (index -> working tree)
discard -> git apply --reverse (revert in working tree)
A `git apply --check` runs first with the same flags, so a stale
hunk that no longer applies fails with a clear "Hunk no longer
applies - refresh and try again" message instead of leaving a
partial mutation. The patch's target path is parsed and must match
the requested file (with /dev/null tolerated for new/deleted files),
preventing a patch from silently targeting a different path. The
whole operation runs inside withGitIndexMutationQueue to avoid
racing with concurrent stage/unstage. The temp file is removed in a
finally block.
- New `POST /api/git/apply-hunk` route in routes.js, registered
alongside stage/unstage. Validates directory, path, non-empty patch,
and action before delegating.
- DOCUMENTATION.md updated with the new service entry.
Patch extraction
----------------
- packages/ui/src/lib/diff/patchFileDiff.ts gains
splitPatchIntoHunks(patch) and extractHunkPatch(patch, hunkIndex).
They keep the original file header (diff --git / index / --- / +++)
and emit exactly one @@ hunk per standalone patch, which is what
`git apply` expects. Each emitted patch is guaranteed to end with a
trailing newline (without it git apply reports "corrupt patch").
Runtime API contract
--------------------
- GitAPI (packages/ui/src/lib/api/types.ts) gains optional
stageGitHunk / unstageGitHunk / revertGitHunk, matching the
stageGitFiles? / unstageGitFiles? precedent so runtimes that do not
support it degrade gracefully.
- gitApi.ts delegates to the registered runtime git API, falling back
to gitApiHttp, exactly like the existing whole-file helpers.
- gitApiHttp.ts posts to /api/git/apply-hunk.
- Web runtime composes the three methods in packages/web/src/api/git.ts.
VS Code parity
--------------
- packages/vscode/src/gitService.ts adds applyGitHunk(), implemented
natively with the existing execGit helper + a temp patch file +
`git apply` (--cached / --cached --reverse / --reverse), mirroring
the server's --check-first safety and temp-file cleanup.
- bridge-git-runtime.ts handles the new api:git/apply-hunk bridge
message; webview/api/git.ts sends it. VS Code users get identical
stage/unstage/discard-hunk behavior.
UI
--
- New DiffHunkActions component renders a compact per-hunk strip
above each expanded file diff in the Changes view. Each hunk chip
shows its +additions / -deletions counts and offers:
working scope -> Stage + Discard
staged scope -> Unstage
Clicking extracts that hunk's standalone patch via
extractHunkPatch(patch, hunkIndex) and calls the runtime git API.
Because the chip index comes directly from fileDiff.hunks[] and the
patch is sliced in the same order, the hunk the user sees is always
the hunk that gets applied. While any action is in flight all buttons
disable to prevent conflicting concurrent mutations; the per-hunk
spinner reflects in-flight state.
- DiffView wires DiffHunkActions into InlineDiffViewer (text diffs
only; binary/image and full-file-content modes are excluded since
they have no patch). MultiFileDiffEntry passes directory/staged
through and handles onHunkApplied by bumping the diff reload nonce
(so the file's diff re-fetches and the affected hunk disappears)
and refreshing git status (so file counts and the staged/changed
scope update). Hunk actions are therefore available wherever the
default patch-context diff is shown.
i18n
----
- 10 new keys (diffView.hunk.*) added to all 9 locales (en, es, fr,
ko, pl, pt-BR, uk, zh-CN, zh-TW), including stage/unstage/discard
labels, tooltips with the hunk index, a stale-hunk error message,
and an unsupported-runtime fallback.
Tests
-----
- packages/ui/src/lib/diff/patchFileDiff.test.ts covers
splitHunks/extractHunkPatch: multi-hunk split, header preservation,
single-hunk and empty patches, out-of-range indices.
- service.test.js adds an applyHunk suite that builds real temp repos
with two separate hunks and verifies: staging one hunk leaves the
other unstaged, discarding reverts only the targeted hunk in the
working tree, unstaging removes only one hunk from the index, and a
retargeted patch (different file path) is rejected. Also covers
invalid-action / missing-hunk-header validation.
- packages/web/src/api/git.test.ts mock completed with the new methods
(and previously-missing exports that prevented the test from
loading) and asserts the three hunk methods are exposed.
- routes.test.js continues to pass under bun.
CHANGELOG updated under [Unreleased].
Add proper VS Code multi-root workspace support. New sessions now start in the workspace folder the user chooses instead of always using the first folder.
The VS Code sidebar now shows one shared flat session list for the currently opened workspace folders, keeps that list synced when folders are added or removed, and excludes sessions from worktrees unless that worktree is opened as a workspace folder.
Also keep the OpenCode server process independent from a specific workspace folder so changing the selected folder does not restart or interrupt existing sessions.

Added a mobile MCP overlay so MCP tools can be opened and managed from the mobile UI without relying on desktop-only dropdown behavior.
Improved mobile session panel touch handling so tapping the status/session area opens the right panel reliably on phones and tablets.
Cleaned up mobile usage provider metadata by removing duplicate rows, hiding unset providers, and showing provider logos consistently.
Added eager loading for provider logos used in mobile usage views to avoid delayed or missing icons when the panel opens.
Refined the mobile update and about flows in OpenChamber settings so release/update information is easier to read on small screens.
Adjusted related layout, header, VS Code layout, command palette, and settings text/localization details needed for the mobile polish.
Replace local-only filtering in GitHub issue/PR picker dialogs with
server-side GitHub Search API queries. Search text is sent as a query
parameter to the server, which uses the GitHub Search API
(issuesAndPullRequests endpoint) with repo: qualifiers including fork
network support. Results are debounced at 350ms to respect API rate
limits.
- Add query parameter to GitHubAPI issuesList/prsList interface
- Server routes use Search API when query is present, standard list
endpoint when absent
- Fork networks handled via repo:owner/repo OR repo:owner/upstream
- PR search fetches full PR details after Search API for head/base/draft
fields
- Remove local filter memos from all three picker dialogs
- Add debounced search effect with abort controller cleanup
- Update VS Code backend and webview API for parity
- Update search placeholders in all locales
Closes#1350

Agent settings now correctly save an emptied system prompt instead of silently keeping the old text.
After saving agent, command, or skill settings, OpenChamber refreshes the updated configuration instead of showing stale values from a short-lived cache.
Reload actions now surface refresh failures consistently while avoiding noisy background errors.
Prevents permission changes from being overwritten by other agent fields
Writes built-in and custom agent permissions to the correct config source
Refreshes agent state after permission saves
Add a directory-created fast path for worktree creation so session and send flows can continue once the target directory exists while Git attachment and bootstrap finish in the background.
Track bootstrap status explicitly in shared UI contracts, including pending, ready, and failed states. Background watchers now surface failures and timeouts, update stored worktree metadata, and keep web and VS Code runtime behavior in parity.
Move GitHub issue/PR worktree sessions and assistant-answer fork sessions onto the unified send path so provider, model, agent, and variant selections are preserved. The assistant-answer fork dialog can optionally create a worktree outside VS Code.
Make worktree deletion dialogs close after linked-session cleanup while removing the worktree in the background, and clean up failed fast-create artifacts safely without recursively deleting user or agent-written files.
Validation: bun test packages/ui/src/lib/worktrees/worktreeBootstrap.test.ts packages/ui/src/lib/worktrees/worktreeManager.test.ts; bun run type-check; bun run lint.
Electron updater now uses Electron release metadata only
Removed legacy Tauri package and migration workflow
Replaced Tauri shim usage with the desktop bridge
Add a packaged-client runtime boundary so the shared UI can talk to local,
desktop, remote, and VS Code runtimes through the right transport instead of
assuming one same-origin web server.
Centralize OpenChamber-owned API access behind RuntimeAPIs, runtimeFetch, and
runtime URL helpers, while keeping official OpenCode traffic on the SDK path.
Support runtime switching, remote host selection, desktop client credentials,
and headless connection links for pairing packaged clients with remote
OpenChamber servers.
Harden the new auth model by moving long-lived client tokens out of browser
URLs, introducing short-lived scoped URL tokens for browser-owned transports,
restricting URL-token access to explicit readable/realtime routes, and making
client-token management session-scoped or self-scoped as appropriate.
Update browser-owned assets and preview proxy flows to work with the split
runtime model, including authenticated project icons, preview token propagation,
CSP-safe preview bridge injection, and preview proxy auth that survives
short-lived URL-token expiry.
Tighten Electron security boundaries for packaged clients by gating privileged
preload state to trusted origins and requiring explicit confirmation before
connect deep-links import or switch remote runtimes.
Also refresh agent guidance and project skills so future runtime/API, auth,
preview, UI, CLI, settings, locale, and drag-to-reorder work follows the new
architecture.
Loading screens: drop the internal-jargon progress text on the opencode
reload overlay (ConfigUpdateOverlay) and the vscode init splash — show
text only on errors. Replace it with a glow pulse on the OpenCode mark on
the cube's top face; OpenChamberLogo's isAnimated prop was a no-op and now
actually animates. vscode shows the glow on the inline splash logo and the
React app stops writing 'Loading data (… Providers, … Agents)…'.
Restart API: 'OpenChamber: Restart API Connection' now runs the same full
reload flow used after an OpenCode update — the command asks the chat
webview to call reloadOpenCodeConfiguration() (overlay + managed restart
via the bridge + config/data refresh) instead of a bare manager restart,
falling back to the old restart when no webview is open. Mounts
ConfigUpdateOverlay in the vscode app so the overlay actually shows there.

Improve chat session switching and history pagination, with most of the aggressive limits scoped to the VS Code webview where the freezes were observed.
Session history loading and pagination:
- Reduce the VS Code message page size to 30 records so switching sessions does not immediately hydrate large histories into the webview.
- Keep manual Load older messages in VS Code fixed at 30 records per request instead of growing the request size over time.
- Add a bounded VS Code initial-tail expansion path from 30 to 50, 80, and 120 records only when the initial page has no user-message turn boundary, preventing large final turns from rendering as an empty chat.
- Lower the normal web message page size from 200 to 150 for a mild shared optimization without adopting the aggressive VS Code limits.
- Make session pagination metadata reactive per session so ChatContainer receives cursor updates from materialization and reconnect paths without requiring a switch away and back.
- Write pagination metadata before publishing newly materialized messages so the first render sees the correct has-more state.
- Store cursor information from direct materialization and reconnect message fetches in the shared session prefetch metadata cache.
VS Code cache and memory pressure reductions:
- Use a shared per-directory session recency map so cache eviction is based on app-level recency instead of whichever useSync instance happened to run.
- Limit VS Code warm session cache retention to 4 sessions and evict heavy inactive message caches after switching away from a large session.
- Disable sidebar session prefetch in VS Code because warming extra sessions was increasing webview memory and GC pressure during navigation.
- Remove dropdown background message prefetch so opening the switcher does not start additional session materialization work.
- Drop cached session-message-record snapshots when evicting session data so stale derived records do not remain after the raw session cache is cleared.
- Add bounded LRU caching for session message record snapshots, with much smaller VS Code limits and a VS Code cap that avoids caching snapshots above 30 messages.
- Bound the turn-window model cache in VS Code and avoid caching turn models for sessions above the VS Code message-page size.
Chat render-path reductions:
- Reuse ChatContainer's already-materialized message records in plan detection instead of adding a second active-session message subscription.
- Add a no-op guard when marking session plan availability so repeated detections do not create new Map references and fan out renders.
- Add no-op guards for session switcher and dropdown open state updates to avoid unnecessary store updates and renders.
- Convert several session-specific hooks to useSyncExternalStore with empty-session no-subscribe behavior so empty IDs do not subscribe to broad store updates.
- Remount the chat viewport when the current session changes, isolating per-session viewport and list state.
- Change the virtualized message-list fallback to render only a tail window when the virtualizer has not produced rows yet, instead of rendering an entire large history.
VS Code layout and header improvements:
- Remove the broad useSessions subscription from the VS Code layout header path and subscribe only to the active session title and initial-session existence.
- Unmount the compact VS Code session sidebar when the user is in chat view instead of keeping the hidden session list mounted and subscribed.
- Compute the latest assistant model and latest context-token usage in a single reverse scan of current-session messages instead of scanning the same list twice.
- Remove switcher git-status warmup work so the switcher reads already-loaded branch labels without starting extra background git status requests.
Markdown and file-reference safeguards:
- Skip expensive syntax highlighting for very large code blocks, with a 200-line cap in VS Code and a softer 1200-line cap in web.
- Add an LRU cap to file-reference stat lookups so the cache cannot grow without bound across many rendered messages.
- Limit the number of file references annotated per render to 40 in VS Code and 200 in web to prevent large assistant outputs from spawning too many stat checks.
- Clear file-link annotations when file-reference mode is disabled so stale attributes and handlers do not remain on previously annotated nodes.
Assistant-message action and preview reductions:
- Skip preview URL scanning on VS Code, mobile, and mini-chat surfaces so assistant text and tool output are not scanned where the preview action is unavailable.
- Skip Save-as-Plan project lookup on VS Code, mini-chat, and mobile surfaces.
- Hide Save-as-Plan and Start MultiRun assistant-message actions on VS Code, mini-chat, and mobile surfaces.
- Resolve the current session directory on demand for assistant actions instead of subscribing each assistant message to the full session list.
Tool and task rendering optimizations:
- Prefer finalized task metadata summaries without fetching child-session messages when the summary is already present.
- Avoid polling or final-fetching task child sessions once a final metadata summary is available.
- Use VS Code-specific task child fetch limits of 30 records for initial, active, and idle fetches.
- Parse diff stats by scanning patch text line-by-line instead of splitting large patches into arrays.
- Count write-tool lines by scanning content instead of allocating a split array for large files.
- Avoid trimming large patch strings just to test whether they contain content.
- Memoize diff and write statistics so unchanged tool parts do not recalculate them on every render.
VS Code bridge improvements:
- Return JSON and text proxy responses through the VS Code bridge as bodyText instead of base64 so the webview avoids synchronous base64 decoding for common API responses.
- Keep binary responses on the base64 path while making bodyBase64 optional in the bridge contract.
- Strip content-length, content-encoding, and transfer-encoding headers from proxied responses because the bridge reconstructs the Response body.
Validation:
- bun run type-check
- bun run lint
- bun run vscode:build
* feat(quota): add Wafer.ai quota provider
- New provider: wafer.js fetches from https://pass.wafer.ai/v1/inference/quota
- Auth: reads wafer/wafer-ai/wafer_ai keys from auth file
- Timeout: AbortSignal.timeout(15_000) with timeoutSignal.aborted detection
- Response: parses remaining/limit/overage/usedPercent/window_end/plan_tier
- valueLabel: planTier + remaining/limit + overage suffix
- Window: 5h (18000s) via resolveWindowLabel
- Cross-runtime: added to web registry, UI types, VS Code dispatcher
* fix(quota): wafer provider fixes — auth alias, decompression, logo
- Add 'wafer.ai' auth alias to match actual auth key format
- Use 'Accept-Encoding: identity' header to fix Bun fetch
decompression issue with Cloudflare-backed responses
- Match copilot valueLabel format: 'planTier · X / Y left'
- Add wafer logo alias so Providers and Usage pages resolve
to the same wafer.ai logo from models.dev
* style(quota): fix indentation of timeoutSignal declaration
* fix(quota): derive window duration from API instead of hardcoding
Compute windowSeconds from window_end - window_start timestamps,
with WAFER_WINDOW_SECONDS (5h) as fallback if timestamps are missing.

Prevents duplicate native notifications when a session is open in both sidebar and editor
Uses an extension-host claim step so only one VS Code webview displays each notification
Keeps notification behavior unchanged for single-panel sessions
Targets active editor chat before falling back to sidebar
Adds session open-in-editor action in the VS Code sidebar
Uses attachment badges for VS Code file and selection context
Disable the active Zen summarization flow because the unauthenticated/free Zen provider is no longer available and now returns usage-limit errors for this feature.
Keep /api/text/summarize as an API-compatible stub that returns local sanitized or distilled fallback text with summarized=false, rather than attempting external model calls.
Remove notification and voice playback summary behavior from runtime paths. Notification {last_message} now always uses normalized truncated text, and TTS playback ignores historical summarize request fields.
Hide the notification summary settings and voice summarize-before-playback controls while preserving legacy persisted settings for compatibility. Also disable Zen model startup validation and make Zen model list routes return empty results.
Update module documentation and tests to describe the retired provider behavior and the remaining compatibility stubs.
Move VS Code/Cursor desktop notifications onto the webview Notification API instead of the extension-host watcher path, which could not reliably produce native OS notifications.
Route OpenCode runtime events from the shared sync pipeline into the VS Code webview so completion, error, question, and permission notifications use the same live event stream as the UI.
Respect the OpenChamber notification settings in VS Code, including template rendering, completion cooldowns, permission auto-accept suppression, and the notify-while-focused mode.
Use VS Code's window focus signal from the extension host instead of document.hasFocus() inside the webview, so hidden-only notifications are suppressed while Cursor or VS Code is focused across platforms.
* chore: add .worktrees/ to gitignore for worktree workflow
* fix: resolve remote-tracking base ref in getLog for PR description generation
getLog was calling git log <base>..<head> with a bare branch name that
often doesn't exist locally (e.g. main when only origin/main is present),
causing a fatal 'unknown revision' error and HTTP 500.
Apply the same origin/<base> resolution already used in getRangeDiff and
getRangeFiles: check refs/remotes/origin/<base> first and prefer that ref
if it exists.
Also fix getGitLog in gitApiHttp.ts to read the JSON error body on
failure instead of falling back to response.statusText, so the actual
git error message surfaces in the toast instead of 'Internal Server Error'.
* fix(git): use local-first ref resolution in getLog and port to VS Code
- Replace unconditional origin/<from> preference in getLog() with a
local-first fallback: prefer the local ref, only use origin/<from>
when the local ref cannot be resolved, and pass through unchanged
when neither resolves so git surfaces a meaningful error.
- Extract the logic into an exported resolveBaseRefForLog(from, checkRef)
helper so it is unit-testable without a real git repo.
- Add service.test.js with 6 cases covering local-wins, origin-fallback,
neither-exists passthrough, and falsy/empty inputs.
- Port the same local-first resolution to packages/vscode/src/gitService.ts
getGitLog() to close the cross-runtime parity gap; also handles
from-only ranges as from..HEAD, matching the web service contract.
* fix(vscode): add missing to-only range branch in getGitLog
When only 'to' is supplied (no 'from'), the web service appends it as a
positional git-log argument. The VS Code port was missing this branch and
silently returned unbounded history instead. Adds the else-if to restore
full cross-runtime parity.
* fix(vscode): surface git log errors
