fix(ui): show project names exactly as the folder is named
Auto-derived project labels were title-cased, turning .ssh into .Ssh and opencode-claude into Opencode Claude. Show the folder name verbatim in the sidebar, window title, settings selector and notification templates, and migrate persisted legacy labels back to the folder name (manual renames are preserved). |

Remove verified dead declarations (#2714)
* chore: remove verified dead declarations Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * chore: narrow unused internal exports Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * chore: remove newly exposed dead helpers Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * chore: remove unused deep-link serializer Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * test: drop two tests that assert on copies of the code mainLayoutMobileSidebarMount read MainLayout.tsx and SessionSidebar.tsx as strings and asserted on source substrings down to exact indentation, so it failed on formatting rather than behaviour. useProjectSessionSelection.test reimplemented the hook's visitNodes logic inside the test file and asserted against that copy, so it could not observe the hook at all. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * test: repair sync suites that had rotted while unrunnable No runner executed packages/ui, so these drifted from the source unnoticed: two imported helpers that are no longer exported, one directory-store stub predated the session field routeMessage reads, and the WebSocket fake missed the mandatory url-token mint plus the close event the socket wrapper reads. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * test: stop the web suite failing on timeouts and a hand-copied mock The Git suites drive a real git binary, so the 5s default made a valid suite fail differently per run. The gitApiHttp mock listed ~70 export names by hand and fell behind the source; it now derives every stub from the real module, which the added shared-UI aliases make resolvable. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * test: run every suite from one command and in CI packages/ui (232 files) and packages/vscode (22) had no test script at all, CI ran neither, and 9 vscode files could never run because Node cannot resolve their extensionless TypeScript imports. Three electron files sat outside every script list, one of them importing vitest, which that package does not depend on. A runner gives each file its own process, since these suites keep module-level singletons and fail by load order when sharing one. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * chore: delete a superseded repro harness and a completed plan The issue-2638 harness needed lsof, overrode process.platform and spawned real servers, and nothing referenced it; event-stream/rebind.test.js now covers the same hub-pinned-to-the-old-port behaviour. The pairing v2 plan described relay and the pairing UI as out of scope, both of which shipped. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: point at the theme tools and record the github barrel invariant convert-vscode-theme and harmonize-theme were referenced nowhere, so the theme-authoring reference now names them. The github barrel is loaded through await import('./index.js') and destructured per route, which no static report can see; documenting that is what stops the next cleanup from deleting it. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * test: repair merge drift in bridge and route-registry mocks upstream/main gained upsertProviderConfig on bridge-system-runtime and a PATCH scheduled-task route after this branch forked. Their test doubles were never updated to match: - bridge-system-runtime.test.js: add upsertProviderConfig to the opencodeConfig mock so the import resolves. - sse-routes.test.js: add app.patch to the route registry stub. --------- Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> |

feat(chat): work-status panel, and MCP auth and settings fixes (#2776)
Adds a work-status panel beside the transcript. Context fill, model and cost, todos, running subagents and the permission requests blocking them, branch and working-tree state, MCP servers, pinned messages and context sources were scattered across the header, the composer and the context panel — a blocked subagent was reported nowhere at all. The panel reads them from live channels rather than persisted history, and becomes an overlay where the chat is too narrow to seat a column. It is on by default, including for existing installs. Because it now carries these readouts, the desktop header and composer drop the ones it duplicates: todo and changed-files chips, usage and MCP tabs. VS Code and mobile keep theirs — neither hosts the panel. Fixes MCP authorization, which was broken from the panel, invalidated by a directory switch through a redirect URI that encoded the working directory, and left the desktop app in the background because browsers will not follow a custom-protocol link without a user gesture. The settings page no longer asks the user to understand the MCP spec before adding a server: one field takes the command or the link, with the kind inferred and a visible override, and client-registration fields appear only when a server actually asks for its own credentials. Also: skills load from the panel instead of only when the composer's slash autocomplete opens; the header button names the current instance rather than falling through to the word "Instance" for relay hosts. Three new optional UI settings keys, all migrated. No change to stored MCP server configuration. |

Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * Align Voice and MCP settings labels with shared heading classes Swap form field labels to SETTINGS_FIELD_LABEL_CLASS and use SettingsGroupTitle for MCP control-group headings (manual auth fallback, request headers). Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * Differentiate settings heading levels by context Page titles are larger and quieter than section titles; group and field labels use dedicated shared classes so hierarchy is consistent across settings surfaces without ad-hoc typography mixes. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * Use shared settings title classes in SettingsView home Wire home and unavailable headings through the shared L1/L2 class constants so they stay aligned with SettingsPageLayout. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * Keep settings number steppers from stretching +/- buttons Density & type NumberInputs no longer flex-grow across the row, and NumberInput locks minus/plus to fixed width so the plus side cannot inflate when the control is placed in a full-width cluster. chore: remove dead code (59 unused files + ~125 unused exports) (#1835)
* chore: remove dead/unreferenced files across ui, vscode Remove 59 unused source files (components, hooks, lib utils, stores, barrels, and orphaned vscode github modules) that are not imported by any entry-reachable code. Also drop a stale test mock for the removed execCommands module. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * refactor: remove unused exported symbols (types, functions, consts, hooks) Remove exported symbols whose identifier is referenced nowhere in the repository (verified via repo-wide search), across ui types/contracts, lib utilities, sync layer, stores, and components. Also drop the few imports/private helpers orphaned by these removals. Co-authored-by: Serhii Dziupin <makeittech@users.noreply.github.com> * refactor: remove more unused exports (desktop, shortcuts, worktree, vscode) Continue removing repo-wide unreferenced exported functions, consts and types across lib/desktop, shortcuts, worktreeSessionCreator, sync, and vscode gitService, with cascading orphaned helpers/imports cleaned up. feat: replace prompt templates with snippets
Replace the prompt-template workflow with snippet support that is compatible with opencode snippet conventions. Snippets are now stored and loaded from global and project snippet directories, including legacy pluralized paths, with frontmatter metadata for aliases and descriptions. Snippet expansion supports recursive references plus prepend and append sections, while inject sections are treated as unsupported no-ops so OpenChamber remains compatible without requiring an external plugin. Add the snippets settings experience and remove the old prompt-template settings surface. The new settings page and sidebar support creating, editing, deleting, selecting, and describing snippets, with localized copy across every supported locale. The settings navigation now exposes Snippets with a dedicated icon and metadata. Wire snippets into all prompt-entry surfaces that need them. Chat, multi-run groups, and scheduled task prompts now offer hash-trigger snippet autocomplete and expand snippets before sending work to OpenCode. Chat also uses an adaptive compact placeholder on mobile or narrow composer widths so helper trigger guidance stays readable in constrained layouts. Keep multi-run aligned with grouped prompts. Multi-run sessions now use a shared title builder that handles both legacy titles and the newer g1, g2 prompt-group title format. Fusion parsing now recognizes grouped multi-run titles, scopes fusion sources to the same prompt group, and creates fusion sessions under the matching group so outputs from different prompts are not mixed accidentally. Harden the icon sprite pipeline. The sprite generator now discovers icon names used through typed icon maps, JSX icon props, IconName returns, and generated-value flows without scanning unrelated string literals or the generated sprite itself. The generated sprite is strictly typed so invalid icon names are caught by type checking, and existing invalid or unsafe icon references were cleaned up across settings, provider, Git identity, scheduled task, voice, header, and sidebar surfaces. Update backend configuration routes and documentation for snippets. The OpenCode config route layer now exposes snippet CRUD and expansion endpoints, accepts JSON bodies for snippet writes, and removes the old prompt-template provider. Scheduled task runtime expansion now uses snippets before dispatching messages. Add regression coverage for snippet storage and expansion, config-route JSON handling, and multi-run title parsing. Validated with full type checking, full linting, targeted multi-run title tests, and targeted OpenCode snippet/config route tests. |

refactor(desktop): make Tauri thin shell running web sidecar (#273)
## What / Why This PR finishes the desktop refactor: the Tauri app is now a thin shell that launches the web server as a sidecar and loads the UI from `http://127.0.0.1:<port>`. All real backend logic lives in `packages/web/server/index.js`; desktop Rust keeps only native integrations (menu/dialog/notifications/updater/deep-link + window chrome). This unblocks: - consistent behavior across web/desktop/vscode (single backend) - simpler desktop maintenance (no duplicated Rust backend) - host switching between Local + remote instances in desktop - reliable cold-start behavior on slow machines (VSCode + desktop) ## Key changes - Desktop sidecar runtime - build pipeline to bundle web dist + `openchamber-server` sidecar (`packages/desktop/scripts/build-sidecar.mjs`) - robust local port selection (prefer saved/default, fallback to random; persisted in `~/.config/openchamber/settings.json`) - improved PATH handling so the sidecar can locate `opencode` CLI (incl `~/.opencode/bin`, overrides, common bins) - disable native right-click context menu in production builds (dev keeps it) - Desktop instance switcher (Tauri-only) - header button + modal to add/edit/delete remote hosts, set default, probe status/ping, switch back to Local escape hatch - auth gate includes host switcher so you can recover when a remote host is broken/auth-required - host list stored desktop-locally (not tied to the currently selected remote server) - Notifications - decision logic moved server-side; desktop notifications emitted via sidecar stdout and shown natively by Tauri - prevent double-notifications on desktop Local origin (UI ignores SSE notification when native path is active) - restore macOS notification sound - Updates - Tauri updater used only when viewing Local instance in desktop shell (avoid “remote web update” triggering desktop restart) - Settings persistence & UX polish - persist model favorites/recents via `/api/config/settings` (works for web + desktop; not origin-dependent) - persist per-project sidebar collapse state in `projects[].sidebarCollapsed` via `/api/config/settings` (with debounce on toggles) - macOS header sizing/traffic-lights offsets fixed (marketing macOS major injected from desktop; MultiRun header aligned) - VSCode cold-start: keep retrying provider/agent loads after connection to avoid empty UI on slow machines - misc lint/type fixes + bun.lock sync - Desktop bootstrap / resiliency - show onboarding screen when OpenCode CLI is missing (desktop Local origin), with retry hook to restart OpenCode after install ## Testing notes - Desktop (macOS): switch Local <-> remote, set default host, verify auth gate recovery, native notifications (with sound), updater gated to Local - Web: favorites/recents + per-project collapsed state persist across reload/restart - VSCode: slow startup no longer results in missing providers/agents/models |
