Release notes now live in changelog/<version>.md (front matter with version and date, then ## App and ## VS Code sections grouped into New, Improvements, Fixes, Misc) plus changelog/unreleased.md for what has not shipped. `bun run changelog:build` renders CHANGELOG.md, packages/vscode/CHANGELOG.md, and changelog/index.json from them; `changelog:check` fails when the outputs are behind and runs in CI and in release:prepare. `oc-dev create-release` promotes unreleased.md to the versioned file dated today and rebuilds. The existing history was split mechanically: every bullet kept, sorted into groups by keyword, five hand-typed headers with one-digit days normalised to YYYY-MM-DD (the update dialog matched none of them). The generated files keep today's release headers, which the update dialog, the release workflow, and the website match by regex. - Updates/PWA: OpenCode update and PWA install prompts can now be dismissed without reappearing repeatedly (thanks to @robertoberto).
Improvements
- Chat: question cards now include copy buttons for Markdown and JSON (thanks to @robertoberto).
- Chat: slash, file, skill, and agent autocomplete selection now stays steadier when using the keyboard or mouse.
- Chat: external links in messages now show favicons with better contrast, and skill links render correctly in user message rendered as markdown.
- Chat: multi-file tool diffs now render safely, including files with mixed line endings.
- Sessions: archived session lists handle large archives better, and sub-session expansion is kept separate between Recent and project sections (thanks to @vhqtvn).
- Sessions: deleting or archiving a parent session now shows a descendant count that matches what will actually be removed (thanks to @vhqtvn).
- Git: reverting a chat message now refreshes the Git changes view afterward.
- Terminal/Mobile: the terminal viewport now stays above the mobile keyboard more consistently (thanks to @Dav1dch).
Fixes
- Notifications: browser and VS Code notifications work without duplicate alerts.
- Usage: added Wafer.ai quota tracking and removed the duplicate Zhipu usage provider entry (thanks to @bowber).
VS Code
New
- Editor Integration: Add to Context now attaches the selected code as context instead of pasting a formatted block into the input.
- Editor Integration: Add File to Chat now attaches selected files instead of inserting file mentions.
- Editor Integration: Add to Context, Add File to Chat, Explain, and Improve Code now target the active session editor when one is open.
- Chat: slash command autocomplete now includes skills and clearer command/type badges.
- Usage: added Wafer.ai quota tracking (thanks to @bowber).
Improvements
- Chat: session editor tabs now update their title to match the session title.
- Sessions: session rows now include an action to open a chat as editor tab.
- Notifications: completion, question, and permission notifications now use the extension notification settings and shows as multi-platforn native notifications.
