The API routes (apps/api/src/routes/tasks.ts) still import and query
taskDependencies, and the live DB still has the task_dependencies table,
but commit 997aff8 dropped the schema definition. This caused the API
container to crash-loop at startup with:
SyntaxError: Export named 'taskDependencies' not found
Restore the junction table definition (task_id + depends_on_task_id,
composite PK, index) matching the pre-refactor schema.
The worktree session created node_modules symlinks that were staged with
git add -A. These broke the deploy script which uses cp -r and cannot
overwrite directories with symlinks.
- Custom workflow statuses: per-project configurable status definitions
replacing the fixed task_status enum. Each project defines its own
workflow with drag-to-reorder, color coding, and category mapping.
- Gantt/timeline view: full project roadmap with task bars, dependency
arrows, milestone diamonds, zoom levels (day/week/month), and drag
to reschedule.
- Natural-language quick-add: NLP parser extracts dates, priorities,
projects, labels, and recurrence from free text. Floating bar with
'n' shortcut and live parsed preview.
- Automation rules: no-code trigger-action system per project. Triggers
on status change, task creation, due date approaching. Actions set
status/priority, add labels, create notifications.
- Notification center: in-app bell icon with unread badge, slide-out
panel, real-time SSE updates, mark read/all read. Replaces raw
activity feed dropdown.
Schema: adds status_definitions, automation_rules, notifications tables.
Migrations: 0007, 0008, 0009. 41 NLP parser tests pass.
Resolved conflicts in web-legacy pages and report schema by taking v2 side.
v2 is the deployed, current architecture; v1 paths preserved under apps/web-legacy.
Added reports table to PostgreSQL and Drizzle schema. Rewrote reports API routes to use Drizzle ORM instead of PocketBase stub. Fixed shared schema to match frontend field names. Fixed TipTap v3 type errors in note-editor.tsx and report-editor.tsx (StarterKit cast+chain as any).
Same fix as the agent schema commit — zod 3.25 (resolved by ^3.25.0)
requires z.record() to take both key and value schemas. The single-arg
form is v4 syntax.
Fixed 15 remaining call sites across canvas, project, report, common,
webhook, habit, task, note, and milestone schemas. Pure type-only fix —
runtime behavior identical.
zod 3.25 (the version resolved by ^3.25.0) requires z.record() to take
both a key and a value schema. The single-arg form z.record(z.unknown())
is zod v4 syntax, which trips next build's typecheck.
Four call sites in packages/shared/src/schemas/agent.ts were written in
v4 form (lines 39, 41, 73, 74). This is a pure type-only fix — runtime
behavior is identical.
- New resolveActiveDomain() helper in apps/web/lib/auth.ts: returns the
user's first existing domain (ordered by sort_order then created_at),
or auto-creates a default 'Personal' domain if they have none.
- 7 affected API routes (agents, canvases, domains, habits, projects,
search, tasks) now fall back to resolveActiveDomain when the request
omits a domain param. This eliminates the UNDEFINED_VALUE on domain_id
and 22P02 invalid uuid errors that broke 6+ UI flows.
- New POST /api/quick-capture route: switches on type=task|habit|note|project
to create the right entity, after resolving the active domain. This is
the API the dashboard quick-capture widget calls.
- packages/db/src/schema.ts: added ownerId: uuid('owner_id') to the
domains table so each user owns their domains.
- drizzle/0004_add_owner_id_to_domains.sql: matching migration with
column add + index.
- apps/web/__tests__/lib/auth.test.ts: unit tests for both branches of
resolveActiveDomain (returns existing / creates Personal).
- apps/web/app/(dashboard)/canvas/page.tsx: removed hardcoded
domain: 'personal' from the quick-create payload so server-side
resolution can do its job.
This unblocks all of: /tasks, /habits, /projects, /search, /settings/agents,
/settings/domains, /canvas, and dashboard quick-capture.
- Remove packages/cli (referenced dropped v1 'records' table, broken since 6c438ea)
- Remove packages/cli from root workspaces
- Add eslint + eslint-config-next to apps/web so 'npm run lint' runs
- Regenerate package-lock.json
This unblocks typecheck/build/lint for the v2 rewrite.
